Carolyn’s vocabulary is absolutely exploding. It’s hard for Brian and me to keep track of all of her words! But I did my best to update our “bragging-rights list” and it’s now 100 percent more alphabetized. Current word count is a nice, round 55.
You’ll notice she doesn’t have many words that begin with “c”, with the exception of “cheese” and “cup” (which is pronounced “bup”). We are really loving the "bup" thing. We will be sad when the day comes that she actually says "cup."
She amazes us every day and we are loving this stage!
The word that comes out of her mouth the most right now is “ya.” She says it with gusto every time.
Us: “Should we put on your shoes?”
Carolyn: “YA!”
Us: "Do you want to eat your dinner?"
Carolyn: "YA!"
Us: "Are you the cutest little girl ever?"
Carolyn: "YA!"
(Of course that answer is a given.) :-)
Here is Carolyn's list o' words. We will try to post some video of her talking soon.
